Lowell Bottle and CAN Return Center

I went to this place to return 10 bags worth of cans and when I tried to open the door, it was locked with a sign on the door saying "Sorry, we are closed", It was 2:15pm on Wednesday. I looked to the left and their hours of operation said monday-Friday open 9:30-5pm???!!! I knocked on the glass door where they could clearly see me and they would not even have the decency to come to the door for someone that traveled all across town to turn in the cans. Their hours of operation are not what they seem, but quite honestly, I believe the spanish ladies in there have a mind of their own. I have been there before, and they can be rude at times if you are not a Spanish speaking person. Their custumer service is "Horrible". (Even if you call their listed phone number, they NEVER pick up, when leaving a message, they never respond back either??!!)They should hire people in there that really wish to work with efficiency and respect for other's. Family members of mine have had same issues when going there. I do not recommend them to anybody, and I , along with everyone in my family & friends circle will never return to this place!!!

They tried to Scam me - well - they scammed me. I brought in exactly $6.00 cans, but instead of paying me, they put just a six on paper. When I came back with the 3rd load of cans, they had changed the person at the register & would not pay me for the earlier cans. Suddenly they only spoke Spanish. (I speak only English) Huge problem if I wanted my money. I stayed at the counter, arguing & complaining in English long enough that they eventually gave me most of my money. I will never go back there.



If you do go there be sure they pay you immediately. Do not leave the counter without your money. The person who wrote the "six" was in the back the whole time. It would have been simpler for them to hand me $6, than to write it down; so I suspect this has happened more than once.
