Banfield Pet Hospital

We had been going to Banfield for years. As the economy worsened so did their services. First they dropped their special Tuesdays and Thursdays. These were the days when you could bring your pet in for simple services with no office fee paying only for the supplies. Next we noticed the vets were trying to get our pets to come in for extra visits. visits that weren't needed. The end came for us when one of the vets, Doctor Austin tried to make money on us by refusing to give one of our dogs shots, so she could give him a complete blood workup which wasn't needed. He had already had one recently from a previous vet , and it said he was fine. Also, the vets there refused to honor other clinics vaccine records and heartworm records that we had paperwork for pertaining to our dogs. They wanted us to bring our dogs in for extra checkups that weren't needed as our dogs had just had them from a previous vet.

We have had pet ins through Banfield for several years and just transferred to the Loveland store. After negligence that led to just a bunch of wasted time we were willing to give them another chance. The next time we went in the nurse refused to tell us how to treat our pet with meds we purchased online and told me they were "no good" and pushed me several times to purchase meds, a different food AND a supplement from them. All the while telling me that SHE was just looking out for my dogs best interests. When I said no she got huffy and brought my dog out carrying him only by his front and not supporting his back end. This is severely distressing as I had made it perfectly clear that my dog had back problems. We will not be going back to Banfield anymore, they were abusive with my dog and just after more money and NOT looking out for my dogs best interests!
