Established in 1986, Westport is a full-service supplier of axle modules and forged components. It offers machined I-beams, steering knuckles, and arms and assembled front steer axle modules. Its facility is spread over an area of more than 110,000 square feet and consists of assembly, warehousing and line sequencing divisions. Its axle modules applications include trucks, school buses, motor homes, step vans, fire trucks and construction vehicles. Additionally, the company designs and manufactures forging dies, tools, fixtures and gauges for machining operations, such as tie rods, spindles, crankshafts, ring gears, pinions and half shafts. Located in Louisville, Ky., Westport offer services to clients, including Arvin Meritor, Oshkosh, Western Star and John Deere.
