Sapporo Japanese Grill and Sushi

This is the best sushi in Louisville. I absolutely love this place. Not only is the food great but the service is wonderful also.

It's a bit pricey, but this is my favorite sushi joint in town. A nice mix of traditional and new school fusions.

The scenery is very modern and appealing. But with the high class scenery be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you want some sushi! With ordering 3 rolls for me and my girlfriend I paid $35 not including taxes. The food is very good. Like very very good. But defiantly not a weekly place to go.

Besides the consistently bad to mediocre service, my girlfriend and I ate there and paid our bills via credit card and left over a 20% tip in cash. Well, the bartender/server apparently did not receive the tip and decided to look my up girlfriend (note that he didn't look me up--we paid separately) on facebook to confront her about the tip. We were both furious with his actions. He used her credit card info to stalk her on facebook. I wouldn't be writing this review about Sapporo, had they acknowledged our concerns. They tried calling her once and when she called back, they acted like they didn't know what she was talking about. Anyway, this was the cherry on top with the many times we have been in there and received lack luster service. There are many other much better sushi places in town that believe in true quality and not just the illusion of quality.

I have been in just about all 48 states and I have eaten Sushi in them all. This was the best Sushi experience of them all. Excellent service, excellent Sushi and the atmosphere was without exception. Best Ever.
