Not sure why this clinic got such low ratings because I highly recommend this vet! She found a tumor on my kitty giving him an exam & pretty much saved his life.

I went to this Clinic to get help for my dog with a Bad Tooth. They operated and removed the tooth. My dog was still having a problem that seemed tooth related. The Vet kept prescribing antibiotics, saying it would just take time to heal.

The real problem turned out to be that the Vet left in not one, but two roots causing my pet pain. It took be a 6 hr round trip to Indianapolis and $1500 to fix this.

To continue, on my LAST visit, the place was filthy. There was a cage of kittens in the waiting room with an overpowering stench from the litter box.

awful. about 4 years ago, i took my 8 yr old cat there for a UTI (he had all the symptoms, so i already knew that), dr melissa said he'd probably need a 5k surgery (a P.U. ?) because his penis was so blocked. and that "it would be better to just put him to sleep instead of putting him through that". i nearly exploded. they convinced us to let them keep him overnight with a catheter, antibiotics, and iv fluids.
the next day i went back to get him and they had never even gotten a catheter in him (& his penis was swollen about twice normal size from them repeatedly trying) and he seemed fine.
what a joke!
to sum it up: she wanted to put my cat down for a UTI, charged me almost $400 (way more than i was told the day before), and then wanted to add another $50 for his take-home antibiotics!
no way would i ever return to this dump. friendly staff, but the vet seems to be in it for the money.
p.s. my now 12 yr old cat is still as healthy as a horse!

I do not recommend this place. My cat had all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, yet this place failed to catch it. The vet kept guessing at what his problem was and treating the wrong things. Didn't run any tests or anything. I agree with the review that said she didn't seem to know what she's doing. Finally I took him somewhere else and they ran some tests and caught it. Good thing I did, because it could have killed him. It is a treatable disease, and is best caught early before it starts affecting organs. Fortunately my cat has been treated and is doing well now.

One visit is enough for us.. ...

One visit is enough for us.. Place was dirty, couldn't justify why certain test were suggested.. Vet didn't seem to know what she was doing.. Never going back.. Only gets one star out of pitty.
