First Steps is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with developmental delays and disabilities. The organization offers psychological evaluation, early intervention and case management services. It provides assistance with the development of individualized family services plans. First Steps also provides referral, psychiatric assessment and behavioral care services. The organization operates the Hart Supported Living Program, which offers care and support services for individuals with disabilities. It provides alternative family placement and monitoring services for children and adults with mental illnesses. In addition, First Steps offers occupational, physical and speech therapies.
