El Nopal

My family loves going to El Nopal. The free chips and salsa are excellent. My favorite dish has to be the fajita tacos. Large portions at a reasonable price. Plus you can usually find a coupon to knock a few bucks off.

It is true that they charge way too much for condiments. I almost choked when I got my bill and was charged $3.50 for a side of guacamole that my daughter ate about a teaspoon out of. And yes, it is true that they don't care to hear your complaints about the charges. Condiments used to be free with your meal and with some meals they are served on the plate (will never understand their system). I have also eaten at other El Nopel locations and they DO charge for extras as well. When this happened to me with the guacamole, I just tipped $3.50 less than he charged me LOL. I Two can play at any game ;). I would never stop eating there because the fact of the matter is that this restaurant is EXCELLENT. I have never had anything that was less than delicious. The service is wonderful and you never wait very long for your food no matter how busy they are. They also have half off deals on a regular basis which makes eating there quite a bargain. This is my favorite mexican restaurant!
