Dixie Animal Hospital

If I could leave a negative star rating I would there is not much positive I can say about the veterinary hospital. They only Vet I would allow my dogs to see is Dr. Bob. After several issues I called today to escalate to speak to someone to resolve the issues I had been having for the last several months - I kept trying to make things work but their lack of due diligence, customer experience, patience and follow up is beyond horrible. I will be reporting their actions to every animal board and agency possible and would never recommend taking any fur baby to this establishment -- I cannot even call it a business.

I have been a client for 20 years. I have also been to many other establishments across Louisville. Nothing compares to Dixie Animal Hospital. They are the best. They have a knowledgeable staff and are extremely personable. They get you great service but also do a great job of getting you everything you need in a timely manner. You won't waste your day. The facility is always clean and never smells like dog, which is amazing.

I have taken my pets to DIxie Animal Hospital since i was five years old. Simple put my entire family has taken our pets to Dixie Animal Hospital for everything from shots to grooming. Recently my I took my seven yr old pom to be groomed. WHen he came back home he was skitiched, would run away from his leash or anything that would touch his neck. If you pet his back leg he would yelp. I treat my animals with the up most respect and love. It was obvious that he was hurt while in the care of dixieanimal care. Whats bad is that i passed it off as old age or a full moon and took him there one more time. It happened again. I would never send my dog to that pace again. After I called to talk about the situation they down played it, wouldnt let me talk to the supervisor, the once excllent customor service had been replaced with avoidance. Its sad to say but i would advoid this place at all cost. Go to Petsuits instead to get your dog groomed.

I have been in the Army for over 28 years traveled all over the world and the kind compelling service I received from Dr Medley was the absolute best I have ever received. Dixie animal hospital is a wonderful family oriented facility. With hours of operation, price and kindness that is unmatched. Thanks Dr. Medley for being so kind and considerate when taking care of our animal friends.
