Airmedic Mechanical Heating

I was late in getting my heat pump serviced for the winter this year, so after a google search I stumbled upon AirMedic Mechanical. The reviews on servicemagic.com were very impressive, so I filled out an online form to have them contact me.



About three minutes after clicking the send button, my cell phone rang! That's what I call service.



During his first visit, Rick checked my system and noticed that I was blowing cold air in heat mode. He thought I had some wiring issues with my thermostat, but I had lost the manual. He couldn't check my levels due to how cold it was (he arrived just before sundown), so he scheduled a time to come back a few days later when it was supposed to be warmer out. In the meantime I used my gas fireplace to keep the place warm.



During his next visit he had downloaded my thermostat info from online, rewired it, fixed my heat, and scheduled a follow up visit a week later. He only charged me for a basic service call even though he had to do extra work and come twice (with an additional follow up for this friday). I can't recommend him enough.

I could not recommend Airmedic mechanical heating and air. Mr. Martin left me high and cold. After paying him $3,700 for two mini-splits he would not return to fix one unit. He has provided a string of excuses why he cannot return to do the warranty work. I have asked him repeatedly from mid Oct 2009 through Feb. 2010 to repair the unit. He has yet to make an appearance.
