The Adath Jeshurun Preschool has been dedicated to children and childcare since 1953, and is one of only a few preschools in North America to receive the prestigious United Synagogue Solomon Schechter Award for excellence in early childhood education. Our program is licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources and is evaluated annually by Division of Regulated Child Care. Our student-teacher ratios are lower than the state minimum requirements. All of our staff receives first aid and CPR training annually. Every teacher participates in 12 hours of continuing education relevant to early childhood care every year. Our very popular Infant Program accepts babies as young as six-weeks old. Children may attend the AJ Preschool through age 5. We offer early morning and extended afternoon hours, as well as summer child care. AJ members receive a tuition discount.
