Went to Academy on Saturday 10/8/16 my daughter went in looking for a Nike jacket was only in there not even 10 minutes she came out because they didn't have what she wanted a clerk followed her out WHY she works so as we sat there in disbelief a group of whites come out no one follows them out. I call to speak to a manager Josh comes to the phone, WHAT a JOKE this guy is needless to say we won't go back!

We bought a bike for my son's birthday from this place. Within the week the tire popped and it was because he was stopping hard to keep from running into an oncoming car.I took the bike back to Academy sports because it it only been written twice and they said they would exchange it. When I got there the manager said it was a child's fault as to why the tire was popped and that he would not replace the bike. II told him that the bike was poor quality and that I wanted to exchange it for a better quality bike and was willing to pay more money for it it. I remain very calm and respectful the whole time while he kept downplaying me because I was a woman or that he wanted to make sure that he kept his money. My son who is 14said one bad word and never raised his voice, "that's a load of crap." And the manager immediately said you all get the crap out of my store because we don't appreciate people who cuss. He was making an excuse because even though I remained calm and respectful he was raising his voice and getting mad at me. It was drawing attention. I think Tony was incredibly unprofessional and I will never shop there again. Consequently I went down to Schwinn right down the way and they said that the quality of the rubber was poor and they changed out the tire for less than $15. Three months later the gear shifter went out and I originally spent $189 on the bike. I will never ever buy anything from them again.
