Comfort Inn Near Old Town Pasadena in Eagle Rock

Excellent hotel, easy access to Pasadena and Los Angeles and provides free breakfast. Staff provided excellent customer service. Rooms are clean, We will go back again.

This is the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in! The room was filthy. The carpet was dark green and we could see stains on it. There were water stains on the ceiling and walls. The wallpaper was peeling around the door and under the sink. There were stains and/or drips of various colors and textures on the bathroom walls and door. The worst thing was that every time the guest above us flushed the toilet (which we could hear), our room smelled like raw sewage - yuck! This made it VERY difficult to sleep. We had reservations for 8 nights, but checked out after only 1. This hotel misrepresents itself as being near Old Town Pasadena (OTP). The hotel is in the city of Eagle Rock which is not too far from OTP, but it's not close, either. There are many other hotels that are closer - and cleaner. This hotel is in a bad part of town - gangs, etc. It is on a busy, noisy street. The rates are low, but it is NOT worth it!

While passing through this charming town of Eagle Rock, I decided to spend the weekend here and visit an old friend of mine. Love the affordable rate and clean room this hotel offered, as well as the complimentary breakfast which included fresh waffle and fruits. Definitely will come back again!

I had some renovation project at my house, and needed an affordable place for 2 weeks. The Comfort Inn Eagle Rock was affordable and Everything was absolutely perfect. I will definitely stay again. The office Staff were very courteous & helpful.



My kids love the waffles for breakfast! and I love their Free Wi-Fi!

The price quoted when reservations were made through AARP was 187.60 for 2 nights (friday and saturday) with 4 adult occupancy. Upon checking in the rude clerk charged us $20 more than the original price. We showed him the price quoted on the printed reservation confirmation sheet, but would do nothing to even suggest a caring employee. This is not the way to assure a return visit to Howard Johnsons, no matter what city is to be visited!
