        Cara L. Wiewiora, D.M.D., M.S.D. is a highly experienced and skilled orthodontist who was born and raised in Longwood, FL. Her goal every day is to create beautiful, life-changing smiles all while getting to know each patient and family personally. To help provide the best service in Central Florida, she continues to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic technology and techniques. Dr. Wiewiora is also a member of the Arnold Palmer Craniofacial Team where she has the opportunity to give back to the community and work with numerous cleft lip and palate patients. Dr. Wiewiora received a B.S. degree from the University of Florida, graduating Cum Laude with a major in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Continuing as a Florida Gator, she worked for her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Dr. Carroll G. Bennett Award for Academic Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry as well as The American College of Dentists Students Ethics Award. She was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following her dream to become an orthodontist, Dr. Wiewiora completed her orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University, earning a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She was awarded the J. Jerome Hebert Award for Outstanding Resident, the LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry Research Day award, and the James P. Bordelon, D.D.S. Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence in Orthodontics. During her orthodontic training, Dr. Wiewiora performed research on reducing the development of white spot lesions during orthodontic treatment, and her paper has been published in the Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry journal. Fun fact: Dr. Wiewiora used to be a patient of Dr. Richard Dunns she credits her amazing experience at his practice as what initially inspired her to pursue orthodontics.

        Very good experience.

        I would recommend this orthodontist very highly. They are very professional and take the time to let you know what they are planning to do. They sit down with you at the beginning of you service and explain just what needs to be done to correct your teeth and give you all the options. They also tell you at the beginning just how long you may be in braces. Appointments are almost always on time and sometimes early.

        Great experience every time!

        Dr. Wiewiora is great and very patient. She doesn't mind spending a few extra minutes to discuss different options and give recommendations. Sherena in the Lake Mary office is also awesome! She takes her time to get to know you and explain every step she is doing and why she is doing it. She listens to your goals for treatment and advocates for that for you. I would recommend Wiewiora and Dunn Orthodontics to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

        move to orlando/transfer orthodontics

        i moved to orlando in 2016 and it was really hard to find a orthodontics to finish up my braces, i went everywhere and also here but i guess i was looking for a cheap way since it was reasonable for me back home in indiana, but everyone else was cheaper but the customer service was horrible, so i came back here to to dunn ortho, and payed the money and everytime i come i remind myself its not about the money anymore its about who treated me with respect kept me comfortable.

        The best orthodontist in Central Florida

        Dr. Wiewiora and Dr. Dunn are absolutely phenomenal! They are soooo skilled, professional and they gave me a smile that I have dreamed about my entire life. This practice is one that accommodates both adults and children and the staff is the best of the best, from the front desk to the back offices they are an incredible team. They are truly the ultimate DREAM TEAM. They are affordable and the results are nothing short of amazing. I want to shout their praises to the world!!!!
