I see that someone erased my review from last year , and I had two bad experiences with pretty paws from grooming our two tee cup yorkees. There were employees that could not follow instructions from me on how to cut there hair. The only thing I asked was to please not cut there beard and had them to even write my instructions on my order ticket, but they did it anyway. I'm sorry, but I stopped going there after the second time. ESPECIALLY when the groomer tried to get out of it. I used to use them a lot,but I just can't trust them anymore, even though they did a teddy bear cut on my yorkees that I loved. But I. Just don't want anyone that can't follow simple instructions. Believe me, the owner remembers me, and thsee incidents. Hope the owner has got rid of that groomer, and the owner has learned that to follow instructions. Oh yea, another man was done the same way the same week. He contacted me on his issue.

Have used this business several times for grooming my very large hairy dog and have always been pleased with the service and the treatment of my dog.

The people who work at Pretty Paws are great...though sometimes overworked & viewed by others as rude or uncaring, but they're just the opposite. I've grown up with Shih-Tzu's and have learned if you don't keep them brushed their hair gets matted and if it's bad enough they need to be shaved...otherwise the dog is in constant pain feeling as though someone is trying to yank their hair out. The one I have now gets shaved when it gets too hot out.

This is THE place to take your dog!!!! It is bad when someone writes a review and does not have a clue about the business,Call the BBB, they have an excellant rating with them and they have won Best of East Texas time after time.Go visit them and talk to the owner if you have a problem.Most of the time the reason a dog gets shaved is from owner neglect from not keeping thier dog brushed......
