Dr. Overman graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a double major in chemistry and physics. He graduated medical school at the top of his class from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center then finished a year of internal medicine at Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Overman completed his dermatology residency at Boston University where he was recognized as a talented surgeon.

Mental Health
The personnel is very nice and Dr. Overman is a very emphatic human being. The way he explains and performs the surgery are awesome. I felt very relieved about my physical health and mental health as well.

Mohs Surgery
Mohs surgery involves the systematic removal and microscopic analysis of thin layers of tissue at the tumor site until the last traces of the cancer have been eliminated. The immediate and complete microscopic examination and evaluation of excised tissue is what differentiates Mohs surgery from other cancer removal procedures. Only cancerous tissue is removed, minimizing both post-operative wound size and the chance of recurrence. In addition, the entire tumor is cleared and the site repaired in one session.
