        Water Heater went out. Could not get the pilot to re-light. Got Tom's name and number from our old plumber who retired.
        Called; left a message. Half an hour later Tom calls back. Gave him the Model and Serial. Called back after half an hour with 2 quotes, depending on what actually went bad, either $250 or $500 to fix a unit in otherwise perfect condition. Home Depot could replace the unit for $800... But who needs the hassle? (I think old ones end up in land fills) I'm quite pleased with how easy Tom is to deal with. His son showed up with one more guy, tried for 20 minutes to get it to light, (trying to save me all that money) and are now removing parts...
        Had to have the full parts package, but at least there's nothing to recycle, old water heaters don't even get recycled, nor go to landfills, they just sit somewhere.
        Overall the service a very pleasant and professional, but not cheap.
