General Info
The Mud Mill Pottery Painting Studio opened January 2004 in Downtown Lodi. It was a new concept for this area, but the community has been very welcoming. With its warm atmosphere and friendly staff, it has become a favorite place to visit. Owner Vicki Snell has had many years of experience in early childhood education with a background in art. While visiting family in Scottsdale, Arizona, she ran across a similar studio. It seemed to be the perfect fit for her and for Lodi. Prior to opening The Mud Mill, Vicki received her credentials in early childhood education and was a preschool teacher in Lodi. After graduating from Small Business Development Center, Vicki took the challenge and fun of opening her own business. The Mud Mill is a member of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce and is a proud supporter of many local organizations such as Lodi Unified School District, the Boys and Girls Club, Pregnancy Resource Center, Lodi Adopt-a-Child, Relay for Life, Omega Nu, local preschools, and a number of private schools. In 2006, The Mud Mill was awarded the Best of Lodi in the category of Arts and Crafts by the Stockton Record. The Mud Mill takes pride in offering a wonderful opportunity for creativity in the young and the young at heart. The Mud Mill is known for great birthday parties and for a fantastic time!
