The school is managed by CS Partners, an educational consulting company that provides cost-saving human resources and business services to schools in Michigan. American Montessori Academy is a member of the Michigan Association of Public School Academies (MAPSA). Its Teacher Support Team Program (TST) is focused on providing learning opportunities and developing the mental skills of students. The school s Exchange City program offers an economic curriculum where students in grades five and six are provided with the opportunity to run a city for a day.         A great public elementary school for kids and for working parents, especially if you live or work in Livonia. There is no bussing, parents drop off and pick up. There is a Latch-key am/pm program & after school Spanish classes. It a public Montessori School which uses the Montessori focus and many teaching strategies based on best-in-class educational research. There is a teacher and an aide in each classroom. All special education students are served in the mainstream. Currently, there are some openings. This is a alternative public school worth investigating. There is no tuition.
