i took my truck in to this David Bowen guy for some minor repair to my brakes, because they were screeching. so he keeps it for over two weeks and then charges me $515 just to put on a new rotor, a couple new brake pads, and a couple of brake hoses. less than a week later, the brakes dont work AT ALL! and this truck is not even a daily driver. so i went to talk to him about it, and with a smirk on his face he speculates the master cylinder is no good. keep in mind that when i confronted him about it, i kept my cool and didnt act a fool. and once i pointed out to him that $500 is a lot of money to pay for having my truck NOT being able to stop- he got pretty loud, snippy, and rude with me and said that $500 was a small price to pay for a brake job, and that the best he could do was charge me a couple hundred bucks to have it towed to his shop so he can look at it, and then charge me to fix the brakes again. so basically, he was saying there was nothing he was willing to do to rectify the situation. well, all i know is my truck didnt have a problem stopping before it went into his garage, and now it doesnt stop at all. just saying. i think he may have sabotaged the brakes so i would have to come back to him and fork over another $500. i would not recommend my worst enemy going to this guy.

i give this establishment a one star rating, only due to the fact there is no option to give star ratings below none.

My experience is similar to Phillips, I went up there with my mother in law to have my breaks worked on, a simple repair. He knew we were paying with a credit card. So instead of fixing it that day he kept my truck a few weeks! Then price gouged us with storage fees and work we did not agree to. Next day I was driving my mom home from her cancer treatments and the breaks failed completely on the highway when I took an exit. We nearly cashed!! I went up there to complain and he snubbed his nose up at me and acted like women are not important stupid and totally ignorant! He said it was the master cylinder without looking at my truck and said it would cost like $500 more!! I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!
