DIRECTOR: Andrea Rossi Meurer, M.S.E. AUDIOLOGIST: Laura McNutt, M.S., CCC-A, CALT APT EDUCATIONAL SERVICES has been in operation in the Little Rock Area since 1993. APT stands for Assessment and Prescriptive Tutoring. We have met the academic needs of students from many private, public, and home schools in sessions customized to fit each student. We have been fortunate to assist pupils in acquiring academic skills and in demonstrating confidence in their own power to learn. We also offer teacher training workshops. Our teachers and therapists conduct sessions in a variety of settings: the schools, our offices, and students' homes. We are open at the convenience of our clients. STAFF QUALIFICATIONS: Over half of our tutors have master's degree or above. Over half are state-certified teachers. They have the following assets: * Sensitivity to Students' Learning Styles * Structured Lessons * Emphasis on Student Accountability * Ability to Communicate w ith Parents and School Personnel * A College Degree and Experience in a Field of Expertise
