Classy Canine

Today was the first time we have taken our 13 year old Siberian Husky to Classy Canine. We were fortunate to have gotten a next-day appointment due to a cancellation. Our primary reason was to get her nails trimmed and secondarily a wash & brush out. All nails needed a serious trim, but nails on one paw (right rear) in particular were extremely long due to not being trimmed at another groomer because we had 'soft tips' glued on after having had a growth removed from an ear on the same side. The previous groomer had refused to trim them and by now the nails were spread sideways due to being so long. Classy did an excellent job on the nails and after the wash and brush there was no loose hair at all, quite an accomplishment on a Husky!

The staff was very friendly and caring, including a very friendly husky-hug at first greeting. We also learned they do boarding in a very nice atmosphere, so they took our baby back to see how she reacted to other dogs and received a pre-approval on the spot.

We found the entire experience, including rates, to be superior to PetSmart where we had gone for years. No more trips to Jackson! Yay!

My and my other family member's dogs have had nothing but the best treatment from the proprietors and groomers at Classy Canine. These folk truly love Man's Best Friends, and it shows. They have taken care of my dog and family's dogs for years and they've gone above and beyond a middle of the road approach to the grooming, boarding, training service they provide.

Plus our dogs really love coming here and being in a "pack" environment!!!

I first met Matt after two people recommended Classy Cainine for dog training. Matt came to my house to evaluate my dogs before I started daycare and over night stays at their kennel. He is truly amazing! It is like having our own personal “dog whisperer “ in Hillsdale county. He was so good with my dogs and when I take them to Classy Cainine Matt is always more then willing to give me a run down on what my dogs did and how they acted. I appreciate this so much. My dog has some physical issues and Matt has always taken special care to keep my dog safe from hurting itself with the other dogs. I would recommend to anyone that needs dog training or boarding to try Classy Cainine!
I also have taken my dogs to Classy Cainine for grooming. My german shepherd has hands down had the BEST grooming she has ever had. The deshedding process is AMAZING I have never had any groomer do such a great job on getting so much hair out of her! She is beautiful from head to toe( nails trimmed too) The true test that my dogs are handled with care is when I pick them up they are always happy!

Very professional, you can tell they absolutely love your pet as much as you do. Prices are good, staff are to of the line.
