Wonderful doctor and person. Great staff too. I went to Dr. Rojer after unsatisfactorily seeing another orthopedist about my torn Achilles tendon. Dr. Rojer patiently laid out a treatment plan and understood my underlying condition which made my treatment complicated. He thought about how my condition affected treatment and took time to research possible solutions. He and his staff are worth the wait!

My experience with the UCOG was a wonderful one. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The MA took her time and thoroughly reviewed all the necessary documents. At this time, I am pain-free thanks to Dr. Rojer.

All aspects of my experience with Dr. Rojer, his office staff, and the Rahway Hospital, was very good. My knee replacement surgery was very successful and recovery was very smooth and follow up therapy at Rahway was convenient and provided an excellent recovery. I am happy to recommend Dr. Rojer and The Joint Replacement Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital AT Rahway

Excellent doctor! Dr. Rojer was fantastic with my 2.5 yo and helped calm her fears. The office staff was just as great and there was hardly any wait. I'm so happy I found him!

Dr. R is a pro and knows EXACTLY what needs to be done to get my knee better and back in action! The bonus is that he's a pretty nice guy too. He has a genuine interest in getting my knee stable and healthy enough to participate in the sports that I've played my whole life.

Dr. Rojer has worked on both of my knees at different times. Each time he was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a treatment that led to a very good outcome.

I am a 76 year old former major league baseball player, turner insurance broker. Dr. Rojer, in Linden, New Jersey, operated on my right knee. I went to three doctors who specialize in this work and selected Dr. Rojer based on his reputation and discussions we had about my health. I have a Pace Maker and A-Fib, which requires daily coumadin treatment. After preliminary exercises it was decided, because of so much pain, to have the operation which required me to cease coumadin for five days prior to the operation.I found Dr. Rojer and Trinitas Hospital to be a great physician and a good place to have my procedure. This is validated by the fact that I was walking a half mile in three weeks. In three months I was able to walk 18 holes of golf and play tennis on clay courts. Post operation therapy took place with Dr. Rojer. I recommend him without reservation and I absolutely endorse him.

RUDE & INCOMPETENT! WORST MEDI...

RUDE & INCOMPETENT! WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE EVER! The staff are unprofessional, disorganized and cruel, as other ratings suggest! ALL of the OFFICE STAFF have bad attitudes -- from Teresa to Aida, you name it -- because they believe that NOTHING IS THEIR JOB and that EVERYTHING IS THE PATIENT'S FAULT! (1) The front entrance is blocked off, so you can only enter through the back entrance. Of course, they lazily placed a tiny sign on the front window, making it impossible to read as you pass by. Not a great thing if you're in a cast or wheelchair and walk all the way to the front entrance only to discover you have to walk all the way to the back to enter. (2) For an orthopedic group, they make the worst (i.e., zero) accommodations for patients who have trouble walking. There are no crutches, walkers or wheelchairs available to navigate through the labyrinth of offices during your visit. For example, I broke my leg and was hopping around the office trying to find out which waiting area I was assigned when Aida yelled out, "Are you new? Well, hurry up and come over here, and fill out these forms," and not, "Do you need help? Please sit down and I'll get the forms for you to fill out." (3) If you're a new patient, they give you 11 pages of forms to complete. If you use pen instead of pencil, or use check marks instead of filling in bubbles, be prepared to be greeted by a frothy mouth. Of course, they don't tell you beforehand (either verbally or in the form of written directions at the top of the forms) to use a pencil or to fill in bubbles, making any "mistake" entirely your fault. (4) My doctor forgot that I was waiting in the exam room for him -- for almost 2 hours. (5) Do not bother using the contact info provided on their website to contact them. After my first office visit, I received disability forms from my employer to complete. I used the email addresses provided on the UCOG website to email the receptionists PDFs of my forms. After waiting a few days and receiving no response, I faxed the same forms. Shortly thereafter, I received a loud, curt, nasty phone call from Teresa, stating that faxing forms is not their protocol. When I explained to her that I initially sent them via email, she cut me off and yelled again, stating that emailing forms is not their protocol either. When I said that no protocol for submitting disability forms was stated or explained to me at any time during or after my office visit -- and that emailing and faxing were the most expeditious and convenient ways for both of us to complete the forms now -- she said, "Our protocol for such things is that you either drop them off or mail them. Also, I don't have the time to go through all of my emails. We have hundreds of patients and doctors, and I get hundreds of emails and a job to do." Apparently, she thinks that reviewing and responding to any form of communication through which she cannot yell at a patient is not her "job to do," even if that form of communication is a work fax or a work email.
