In operation since 1969, Calvary Commission is a social welfare organization that is headquartered in Lindale, Texas. It operates various orphanages, distribution centers, and an outreach ministry and church. It is an indigenous, nonprofit, trans-denominational ministry that serves oppressed and destitute people. The organization offers a range of short-term outreach programs. Calvary Commission operates its base locations in various countries, including Romania, Mexico, Belize, Tyler, Cuba, India and Peru. In addition, it operates the International Center of Missions, which offers diploma and degree courses in Biblical studies. The center also provides training and job placements in various missionaries and orphanage child care ministries.
