The best food I ever had!!

This could be a great experience. However when the bar staff actually complains about how busy it is, & how they do not want to be there. It really makes the paying customer feel that maybe they should have gone else where. If there is one thing that is important to any restaurant, it's that the customer should feel important & not as though you are bothering the staff by being there.

The food is excellent and the waitstaff superb, with the exception of the hostess. We arrived 4 minutes late for our reservation, due to the fact that we couldn't find a parking space, and received a verbal tongue lashing about being late and that we could not linger at our table because the next reservation was at 7 p.m. (We had a 5:30 reservation). Perhaps she should take an etiquette course. I guess she doesn't realize that it is the "customer" who keeps her employed. I was appalled at the lack of her professionalism. You do not speak to customers like that.

The food was tasty and our waitress was extremely nice. However, I would never go back! The head hostess was rude and had no sense of what customer service is. I can understand busy, I just can't understand complete and utter rudeness.

Highly recommended!! Our meals were fabulous, hot, fresh and tasty. The staff from the hostess right down to the bus people and bar staff were all courteous and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Lincoln is not known for their Italian restaurants -- until now! Trattoria Romana happily exceeds all expectations. If you like and appreciate good quality, authentic Italian food, run, don't walk, to Trattoria Romana. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to call for a reservation; they are the new game in town and quite busy.
