I was quoted a price for a zipper repair. When the boot was ready a week past the expected date the charge was $15 higher than quoted.
There are no price lists in the shop and no way to know what you're being charged. Would not go back.

Overall

WORST SHOE REPAIR! I'm finding another shoe repair shop, and I suggest you do the same.

I have used this shop several times over the past few years, and have done so only as a matter of convenience. The shop is conveniently located near my home and was the first one that I was able to find after moving here.

At first, I was a little put off buy the condition of the shop which was very disorganized. As a result, the shopkeeper often had trouble locating my repaired shoes at the scheduled pickup time. More than once, I had to return to the store for a second time in order to give them more time to find my shoes.

Not only is the shop unorganized, it also smells of bad body odor. And yes, I do know the difference between leather, shoe polish, and BO.

The workmanship is just average compared to other shoe repair shops that I have used in the past.

Recently, I was unable to pickup a pair of shoes at the scheduled time. I had to drop off another pair, and brought in my pickup ticket. Once again, they were unable to find my shoes, They said that they would find them, and I could pickup both pairs at the end of the week. The recently dropped shoes were repaired and ready to go. As for the other pair, they said that the pickup ticket was past 30 days, and that they had probably disposed of the shoes. I stated that I had not received any calls from the shop, and the employees said that sometimes they call and sometimes they don't. REALLY! Shoe repairs generally run $30 or more, and most people generally don't get disposable cheap shoes repaired. In this case, a $250 pair. I was expecting the shop to, at the very least, compensate me by saying "no charge" for the pair that they were able to deliver. Just the opposite, they scolded me for the fact that they would not be getting paid for the work that they had done on the shoes that they say were thrown in the trash.
