Im glad i found a place i can trust with my dog , they are great people, and pet friendly

I was yelled at today by Dr. Jeffers. I felt like one of her employees or one of her kids or dogs. I couldn't believe what it was happening. She said I was a pain in her behind, and that I don't trust her and all because I wanted answers for my dogs surgery and requested to see my dogs file because she couldn't find notes from a specialist that she referred me to and that i went to see a year ago. She said for me to get the surgery for my dog somewhere else. She is mentally unstable and unfit to be a vet. She is too old and I think she is becoming senile, I really think so. How is she going to treat a customer that way? Why hide the file from me if there is nothing to hide? She was reading a file from my other dog and confusing it with the current dog at hand. What the ..? I asked her questions and she couldn't give a concice direct answer. That office is not the same anymore, Dr. Jeffers is not a reliable Vet anymore. They think that a smile is all they need to offer. One vet got fired because she didn't agree with Jeffers believes on how to go about a treatment (Lymes decease). This happened to my dog. Dr. Maniet (the current other vet) is scared to death of Dr. Jeffers. She doesn't want to get fired so she is her own little puppet. She won't voice her own opinion. It's very sad. They try to do blood work / x-rays / medication / supplements at all cost. Be very careful. Do your own research they will lie to you, well, misguide you the best way possible so you spend the money with them. Their meds are over priced and the visit. Don't take your pet there, it's not a good place anymore. The reception area always smells like urine or ammonia. Some of the techs are very nice, sincerely nice and I will miss them and so will my dog. I feel bad for those techs, they deserve better. You can see they are scare of even think on their own. I've seen how they have lost so many clients and now I know why. I feel very ashamed because of Dr Jeffers' actions (yelling at me like I'm a kid or a dog) I don't know how to process that. I think I'm going to look for a lawyer and/or counseling.

Excellent care, excellent staff. Dr. Jeffers is tops. Everyone is very polite and caring towards us and our dogs (past and present). I have gone there for 30 years and highly recommend them.

Money first...They wouldn't even look at my cat until I paid them money. How uncaring is this...Would never go there again.

I am very impressed by the compassion and sound judgement I recieved at My Pet's Best Friend. Both Dr. Hancock and Jeffers treated me with respect and showed their devotion to animals. I particularly like the lab which can get results same day and speed up treatment. Thanks!
