I have been a patient at Island Smile for years now. There are some great dentists there. They really care about you and make sure you know what is going on during the treatment. I am satisfied with all of their services so far.

Great dentist! I took my whole family to Island Smile Dental and I can honestly say this is my new forever dentist. I went in for 4 fillings and a cleaning and was out of there in an hour. I have never gotten out of the dentist in that short of a time period and they thoroughly explained everything. I will be going back in 6 months for a cleaning and look forward to my next appointment!

Island Smile Dental provides the highest quality of service I have ever experienced at a dental office. They have modern technology, great customer service, and amenities. They get the job done but don't push cosmetic dentistry like I have experienced at other places. They are also extremely punctual and fast with their cleanings.

My whole life I have hated going to the dentist and Dr. Mekawy was very gentle and was very personable. He is definitely the best around! He also has personality and is a great guy to be around during your visits. Very respectful and professional. He made me feel very comfortable with all my work that had to be done. 100% recommended!!!!

Compassionate, Caring Dental Practice with Outstanding, Friendly Service

I went to my Dentist In July and had a full check-up, had a cleaning & left. Then I chipped a tooth & went to Island Smiles and before I knew it, the Dr, took a full set of X-Rays & told me I needed over $3,000 worth of work!! Remember I had just had a full dental evaluation less than a month before and checked out fine,. I just wanted the chipped tooth filed down. Anyway he comes at me with a loan application for Chase bank so he can start the work immediately. Needles to say I never went back & I suggest you never go there, they are friendly, smooth talking con men. Crooks & cheats!!!

DON'T WALK FROM THIS DENTAL OFFICE.....RUN! I was seen by Dr. Liebman "after hours" for a dental emergency, and although I had 2 forms of dental insurance, since they couldn't be verified until the next morning, I had to charge the full cost of the visit on my credit card. I was told paperwork would be sent in the following day so I could be reimbursed for most of the amount. The paperwork was never sent. When this was verified by my insurance agency, the Island Smile billing clerk referred to them as "liars" (how professional). My husband had to get both parties on the phone in order to get the correct paperwork submitted. Again, Island Smile filed the incorrect dentist ID # and tax #. I finally had to make a complaint to my insurance company that the dental office was refusing to be compliant with regard to providing the proper information for me to receive the money I was entitled to. The end result? My insurance company, in error, sent MY reimbursement check to Island Smile, which has conveniently claimed to know nothing about it. As long as these people get their money, they don't care if you get yours. The billing clerk has since "quit" (I wonder why?) Also, other websites where you can rate dentists also list negative things about this office and its billing practices. Generally, I would not bother writing a review, but I am sick and tired of people like this taking advantage of good consumers. Do yourself a favor...find another dentist....ANY other dentist.

Island Smile Dental Group cares about their patients which is a rarity these days. Not only do they offer emergency dental care 7 days a week, they also accept all insurance plans and give free consultations. They have services ranging from general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry to orthodontist, periodontist, implant and denture specialists. I personally love the helpful staff and the warm environment. Every treatment room has cable television and their waiting rooms are beautiful. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good experience with excellent dentists.
