Muffins & Ice Cream

Been here twice and had good ice cream both times. large servings but a bit pricey. not much space to sit outside because it's located on a corner at a busy lemont intersection. pet friendly always lots of people in and out. it's definitely not Plush Horse but its close for a quick stop for parlor style ice cream. It gets a C+ B- average.

Went to Muffin's for some turtle sundaes. Being an ice cream shop I assumed the people there knew what "turtle sundae" was (ice cream, caramel sauce, pecans, .............) apparently not. They wanted me to tell them how to make them. They started to put the ice cream in the cups, the sauce, the pecans, whipped cream, cherry only to realize they can't even get the lids on. The girl working there was pushing down so hard EVERYTHING was leaking out all over the counter. Her boss standing nearby is telling her to keep pushing down on the lids while she is LICKING her fingers while she is attempting to wipe down the sides. Totally grossed me out, ice cream and all dripping ALL OVER the counter. It was a total of four sundaes, I paid for them and told them to just throw it in the trash, it's disgusting and we are not eating them. Oh, forgot to mention she was tossing her long hair around and the hair even touched the sundaes. The owner just sat there, saw I was reeeeeaally pissed off, saw I paid for them, heard me tell her to throw it in the trash it made me sick to my stomach, and the idiot hands me a "a" coupon for a free cone on my next visit!!!!!!! Hope they're shut down.
