Cypress Truck Lines provides transportation services throughout the United States. Its flatbed service spans throughout the U.S. and transports commodities, including steel, building materials and specialized equipment to the Caribbean. The company s primary area of operation is east of the Rocky Mountains to the Texas border and east to the eastern seaboard. It has a heavy concentration of equipment in the southeast, hauling primarily building materials and steel products that require time sensitive deliveries. Cypress specializes in the trans-loading of rail cars, including steel coils, rebar, wire rod, lumber and building materials. The company has a Norfolk Southern and CSX Rail siding and can unload flat cars, gondolas or box cars. Cypress provides door-to-door flatbed transportation from points in the United States to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Founded in 1912 Cypress Truck Lines is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. Its branch located in Leland, N.C., employs nearly 65 people.
