Nine Years ago my oldest son died tragically. I was compelled to start my business the day before his accident. It was the day before I bought my camera, my website template and was brainstorming my business name. Photography became my outlet from my grief. It became my happy place. My mission became to give to others what I wished I could give to myself. The gift of not just a smile, but memories of the heart, the soul, the love, the relationships. My sweet baby James became my inspiration to give to you precious memories which you would always hold dear. Memories that superseded a smile but memories that told a story. Not just any story, YOUR story. I always tell my clients your will most likely not lose your child like I did, but everyone will lose their child to time. This time is precious. These memories are worth more than any amount of money could ever buy. I originally loved photographing just little children. I have recently experienced what true love is. Ever since meeting and marrying the man of my dreams, photographing couples has been so inspirational as now I believe in love. I believe that it is real. I believe it when I see it and I want to capture it for my couples. Love is rare. It is precious and it is what we live for. Love in all of it's various forms is my inspiration. Love of life. Love of family. Love of living. Love of self. Love of a child. Love of a lover. Love of a trial. The only thing more fulfilling than capturing the love of two lovebirds who are celebrating their 50 year anniversary or capturing the sprouting love of a couple just entering into the covenants of marriage or capturing the explicit joy that comes in the moment that your name changes to Mom or Dad or capturing a senior as they take their leap into the world is when I experience it firsthand in my own family. The invitation is sacred to be part of your story. That trust is something I don't take lightly. I love to laugh, I love to dance when no one is looking, I love to sing, I love to dance in the rain, I love to smell the flowers and touch the leaves as I walk through a park. I love to meet new people who become instant friends. I love to love and I love to photograph. This is my story.
