The Lee's Summit School District, more commonly known as the Lee's Summit R-7 District, offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and language arts. The district s schools support several sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. Its schools operate the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). The Lee's Summit School District offers membership for book, chess, environmental, robotics, science and thespian clubs. The district s schools provide before- and after-school child care and gifted and talented education programs. Its fine arts department offers classes in string, band, music, drama and theater to students in kindergarten through grade 12.
