In 1973, Jim Eskew started out as a part time employee at Diessl Jewelry in Independence, Missouri, where the main focus was custom jewelry and repair. Thirty years ago Jim moved on from Diessls and opened up Eskew's Fine Jewelers at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, Missouri where the main focus was based upon those same services and continues today. Fifteen years later, Kurt Eskew, Jims brother, joined as a a partner in Eskew's allowing the expansion to a new and larger location which still remains on 291 highway in Lee's Summit. As business grew, Eskew's expanded once again and opened its current location at the Crackerneck Plaza in Independence. We carry a large assortment of loose diamonds as well as one of the largest collections of loose colored stones in Kansas City. We also keep up with today's technology in custom jewelry design with our digital Countersketch design program, as well as being experts in purchasing entire jewelry estates.
