Asian Buffet

We went on a Friday night at 9 PM, and they did not close until 10:30 PM. However, because it was late, the manager decided not to refill any food pans that emptied. This left a lot of empty pans and the pans that were filled had very old food that obviously had been sitting out for hours. Then, the most awesome part... I watched a mouse run across the floor!

When we went up to pay, I tried speaking to the manager about all of the things above and he was extremely rude to me. He told me the non refilled food and cold, old food didn't matter because there was other food available. Then when I pointed out he charged an adult price for our 10 year old, he laughed and called me a liar. I told him that given all of the issues I feel our meal should be free, but I would be willing to settle for half. He told me no. I told him I would never come back and I would leave negative feedback where I can - he said he doesn't care.

Sushi here is better than Sushi Ya's which makes me sad. Love the walnut shrimp here. Staff is super nice especially to kids. Me and my hubby's go-to Chinese place.

I "discovered" this restaurant a few years back when shopping at the DI in Layton. My friend and I wanted a cheap lunch and decided to go in and look over the buffet to see if there was anything that we may enjoy. As we entered, we were greeted right away and was welcomed to look at the food. The smells were incredible and the food looked good, so we stayed. Now, I am a MAJOR shrimp lover, and they had a lot of different dishes with shrimp. From my favourite, shrimp with vegetables and crab, to cold plain and fried spicy shrimp. Their cheesy muscles, stuffed mushrooms, and greenbeans are among my top favourites. The sushi is average, but for less than $10/person, you can't go wrong! They have a full salad bar and a mandarine style grill so you can choose your own dishes. For dessert, I love the coffee cake.

The service is great. They will even give pitchers of your drink if you ask.

The hostess has taken kindly to my youngest son (he calls her his girlfriend) and we go a lot so everyone there knows us well.

One of my favourite restaurants ever, and for sure my number one asian buffet :)
