Pinewood Village Apartments

This place is positively the worst complex I have ever lived in. There is no central AC, and the one unit in the living room constantly grows mold and you have to completely dismantle it in order to clean the mold. The bedrooms stay intolerably hot during the summer months.

The tenants all around are noisy and there are lots of vehicles that have very loud stereos in their cars even after complaints were reported to management several times. Management is very lazy and doesn't take care of business (i.e. the handicapped parking space that isn't really handicapped, but people don't park there thinking it is, even though there is a shortage of parking). Management also obviously doesn't screen applicants very well because we had some neighbors move in who had the police called on them for a domestic dispute of sorts and there was a man and woman both standing bloodied on the porch talking to the officer.

There is an artillery field nearby that sometimes blasts so loud it would rattle pictures off the walls, and children play and scream in the corridors and balconies all day when school is out. They skateboard through the narrow passages and leave trash and candy wrappers on the stairs and all over the porches, and any decorations I had outside had to be removed because people would mess with them.

I had a package stolen, but I don't know if the delivery service left it at the door and someone stole it, or if they took it to the office and someone stole it, but my tracking confirmed that it had been delivered to the correct address, but the front office told me I had no package.

They will also ream you when you move out. We left our unit nearly spotless and they charged us for ridiculous things like dusting the window sills. We were good tenants who were never late on rent and never had any complaints and they still charged us over $500 in "damages" that they claim. Having lived in several different complexes over the years, Pinewood Village is by far the worst place I have ever stayed and I will NEVER do business with them again. I strongly discourage anyone from renting from these crooks.
