General Info

The Children and Family Services Division provides child welfare, support and protection services. The division also offers treatment and identification services against abuse and neglect. Located in Lawton, Okla., its child care program includes supervisory, nutritional and educational services. The Children and Family Services Division is a part of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, which provides medical, family planning and adoption services. The department additionally provides financial and medical assistance programs to refugees. It offers vocational training and employment-related services. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services provides the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which includes winter heating, energy crisis management and home repair assistance services.
