Butterfly Lounge

This place has REALLY gone downhill in the past years. We stopped by for a party recently. The owner seems to think that the drinks there are worth nearly double what others are. The red lights and bad green paint pretty much tells you what you need to know walking in the door. We met a couple of the bartenders who were alright. The waitress(if you want to call her that) was just plain nasty and lazy to boot. We walked to the bar to get our drinks. I couldn't stand to tip her. The upside is that the people there are nice and the place is still drug free! The place needs to be cleaned and get it's prices in line. Could really use some better ventilation to get rid of the smoke too! If we were to ever go back they would have to fire the waitress and at least get the place a professional cleaning.

My husband plays pool and he said the tables were okay, but needed to be maintained more often. He had a lot of fun with the DJ and all the prizes HE won....

Well, if the place didn't smell so bad, for starters, it might be tolerable. I was invited by a friend and unfortunately was less than impressed. We had some fun with the Karoke DJ, but the smoke and poor ventalation chased us out, as well as the bartenders and a Korean owner who couldn't seem to walk straight and not scream at the customers. A rum and coke cost $4.25, plus $1 for the can of soda and the owner kept yelling that they pour the rum out of the pony, not the jigger. Oh, and the restrooms....let's just say, I'd feel cleaner using a port o' john at a county fair. Sorry.....I'll not be back
