Shampooch Palace

I brought my Great Dane in there and she s a big ol Scooby Doo. Scared of everythingthey were very kind and gentle. The washer did an amazing job, my dog smelled so good. They also trimmed her nails, brushed teeth, etc They are close by and are a decent price. Oh, I also brought my cat and they did a lovely job with him as well. I ll be going to them and recommending them to everyone....

We have used this business twice and will never do so again. The first time we brought in our long haired german shepherd, we explained that she was not to be shaved just trimmed. We got a decent trim but found a dried bloody cut on her ear which they did not tell us about. Maybe she was moving too much, so we let it slide.



We brought her back earlier this week and asked for the cut to be a little shorter than last time. When my husband went to pick her up, he didn't even recognize her. Any groomer should know not to shave a german shepherd or any dog with a layered coat. My dog looks like a ridiculous poodle rat, even if I had wanted a shaved dog I would be horrified by the terrible job and how uneven it is.



I called the business and spoke to the owner as soon as I saw my dog. She told me that the only way to go a little shorter was to shave the dog and admitted no fault or understanding. No explanation was given when we dropped off the dog and she was unwilling to make any apology. I specifically asked for a refund and she told me that she wouldn't give me anything since she did the work that I was charged for. I passed the phone to my husband and she told him she wouldn't give him anything and hung up. He called back and said that it was very poor customer service to hang up on clients and she said the best she would give is $10 off our next visit and hung up on him again.
