Dr. Syed is competent. The staff is unable to process insurance especially when there are two insurances involved. Their inability to communicate extends to Health Advocate, a company who helps settle disputes between providers and staff. They refuse to refund the $30 copay I erroneous payed to them and refused to listen to any reason. The Office Manager has a need to be vindictive more than she needs to do what is right.

Listed as a walk in center, was told they were closed for lunch, come back in an hour. Was charged $186 for a brief visit, no tests, no x-rays. Was given 3 medications, all with side effect of nausea, vomiting, which was the result. Next day contacted office at 9:30am, due to vomiting, was advised no doctor or tech available, and to leave a voicemail message and stop taking meds.. Called back again at 11:30, as no one contacted me. Was told someone would call me back in the afternoon, they were seeing patients. At 2:30, no one had called, I went to the office to pick up my paperwork, as it was not given to me at original visit. Was told they never give discharge paperwork as people just throw it away. Was given paperwork after 20 minutes and was told someone was reviewing original medications with the doctor. Was also lectured that they had their policies and protocols to follow, at which point I told the receptionist that I just needed medical help - due to original issue and now vomiting, and was going to get it elsewhere.

I like Dr. Syed, he is very professional and caring. His staff is very curteous and helpful.
