Old Fountain Academy

The staff is loving, caring, addresses concerns promptly and has open communication. Our family has had a wonderful experience for the last 6 years!!

We picked up my 1 yr. old son several times and he had substantial scarring on his face and behind his ears and the staff made no incident reports. He was being beaten up by an older child on the playground when I pulled up in my car and I had to yell at the teacher from outside the gate to get the child off my son. She was totally oblivious. Sharon, the owner, is in the business of making money. The safety of the children and customer service is ancillary. This was a very, very unsafe place for my child.

Observe classrooms, teachers and other staff at Old Fountain Academy prior to enrolling your child in any of the programs they offer. Polices and procedures set in place by the Georgia Pre-K Program, Bright from the Start were not followed. Problems and concerns were handled in an unprofessional and uneducated way that did not promote resolution, but rather facilitated a spiraling of negative events. Based on our negative experiences and others that I am now aware of, I have a hard time believing all of these reviews are actually from the parents of children who attend or have attended Old Fountain Academy. Please do your homework before sending your child to Old Fountain Academy. I wish I could give a negative star rating, it does not deserve the one star I am forced to give them in order to post a comment.

Do not send your children to this center. There are far better schools in the Dacula area. The owner is deceitful, uneducated (her own words), and has no place owning and operating a child care establishment. Please read the other bad reviews and be warned.

Something is very wrong here!! Be aware that the owner Sharon and some of her staff are very manipulative,uneducated and unprofessional! We had a very unpleasant experience. Dispicable behavior on their part! Unimaginable things said about my child! You are not allowed to speaknnnbvto the teacher without Sharon present.. hmmm why is that?? Because she lies and manipulates situations! She expels poor little 4yr olds... she treats parents horribly. They act as if they want to work with you and your child but never follow through only to place blame on the parents..this is only a fraction of the way things are mishandled. DO NOT SEND YOUR INNOCENT CHILDREN HERE!!

I have two children at Old Fountain Academy, and we love it. The owner and staff follows the rule, the center is exceptionally clean, very friendly and they work in harmony with every one. They run a quality school.Our kids can't wait to get there every day; so many times we go to pick them up and they are upset with us. We have had to leave the kids and return later to pick them up. We have never seen such before. We recommend this place to every one who cares about their children's safety and education. Thumbs up! Old Fountain Academy Rules!

My children goes to Old Fountain Academy. They are very happy in a structured and loving atmosphere. The owner Sharon and directors Heather and Kelly are awesome. The quality of care is exceptional. My kids are very safe there even the bus drive will tell you the owner had seat belts installed in the school bus. That's going above and beyond in ensuring quality and safety. I highly recomend OFA; you will love the family friendly atmosphere.
