You hear a lot of horror stories about mechanics ripping people off. Let me tell you, this isn't one of them. I thought I had a bad rear main seal. Typically around $1,000.00 or more at most repair shops. Gabre Royes put the car up on a lift and had me look at it with him. De decided it wasn't the seal but instead it was coolant hose leak and a sensor that was leaking that was the problem. Now for my car (2004 Merc Sable LS 3.0 ltr engine) there's no such thing as a common part I've come to find out. Needless to say, he could have rapped me with repairs I didn't need. The cost of fixing my car was around 25-30 percent of what I was fearing it was going to be. He has a customer for life (at least my life seeing how I'm older than he is)

I went into GMR Auto Repairs and Services and I have to say being a female going into a auto repair shop, I had a great experience, The mechanic was thoughtful and knew what he was doing, He repaired the leak on my 01 Honda Civic, something that several other mechanic were not able to do, I was charged a fair price, I did not leave feeling cheated. Gabre at GMR Automotive and Repairs is now my regular mechanic

Very disappointed with the quality of work here. I had a problem with the evap system and had Gabre work on my car. I took my car to him 3 times and each time the check engine light came back on 2 days later. After almost $500 the problem still was not fixed. I went to Honda and they fixed the problem and I had no further issues with my car. When I went to talk to Gabre about getting refunded for some of the work he refused and came up with excuses on why my car wasn t working. Avoid this place at all cost!! Not even worthy of 1 star.
