Animal Care Hospital

Two of my dogs got into a fight when they got overexcited on Wednesday when i got home from work. I started a new job a few weeks ago and they are still adjusting. These two are like brothers. They get along great most of the time but occasionally fight just like siblings can. I thought there were just a few small nicks but when I got home Friday night there was a small swollen area on my boxer's jaw. It was late at night so I was going to take a closer look in the morning. However, when I went to check on him, the whole side of his face was badly swollen. They were able to set me up with a immediate appointment and get him checked out. It was a nasty absess and they had to insert drains in the side of his face. They even stayed late to do the surgery. It swelled up so quickly that without their immediate help, I do not know what would have happened. He's on anti-inflammatories, pain meds and antibiotics and hopefully he will be healed up well enough to have the drains removed on Wednesday.



I was also impressed to find out that they have several cats that have come to them in different ways that they keep there until they can find a home for them. Two of the cats have even been there for over three years. They were all very friendly. They are kept in kennels out front "on display" during business hours but they have a whole entire room for themselves in the back for after hours. I was glad to see a vet who would devote time and money to take care of these animals who deserve a home. I know they will be well taken care of until the right homes come along.

I am incredibly impressed with Animal Care Hospital. Dr. Reese, Dr. Chandler, the Office Manager Beth, and the office staff have both gone to extreme lengths to make my family and our pets feel welcome and loved from the first visit. They have saved two of our family pets so far and are working on a 3rd now. The vet staff is staying after hours trying to save this dog. They have gone above and beyond in EVERY situation. They are heros and truly care about animal life and the sweet impact that they have on us. My heart has been touched by this vet's office. I have never known such a caring and devoted group of people. I would trust this team with any/all of my animals. Without question...
