Clark County Clerk's Office provides a variety of services for the administration of the county. It oversees a staff of more than 60 individuals. The office is responsible for recording and preserving various public records. Clark County Clerk's Office prepares agendas and maintains the records and minutes of the meetings and hearings of the county s planning commission. It administers the oaths of office for several elected officials, judges, commissioners and board members. The office also conducts various elections and processes passport applications. Clark County Clerk's Office issues a variety of liquor, gaming and marriage licenses, as well as files fictitious firm name certificates. Additionally, the office provides customer service to the community, tourists and residents. Clark County Clerk's Office maintains a presence in Las Vegas.
