Islandway Pavers and Pools

Do not use this pool company. One star would be too much. They did NOT complete our work on time and were given a very specific deadline due to a special event. Their subcontractors destroyed our yard with three huge piles of cement and the owners would not return a call. Three days prior to the event they finally stated they could not complete the project and we have to find a new contractor to complete their work.

It's now been a month since work began and they haven't completed my "2 day" pool paver job yet. Began blaming suppliers once they ran short of materials. Absolutely no communications initiated by them along the way. No complaints with the actual work - yet. No ownership involvement!

we used them to pave our access road, sidewalk, and pool deck. Great work at a great price. Lance has vision and helped us plan.

What I liked most about working with Island Way Pavers and Pools was that they required only 10% down and the rest was paid in installments as the work progressed. I do not mind admitting that I am a difficult person to please. I have never worked with more professional people until I worked with Island Way Pavers and Pools. They were respectful and hard working. Director of Operations,Francois Marais, was always available when I called for questions concerning the progress. I would have liked to have had the pool completed within a week however, the wait was well worth it. You can have this process finished quickly in a sloppy manner or you can wait and allow the crew to take their time. I prefer for them to take their time. What a superb job they have done thus far. I have a new respect for people who work outside. Owner Lance Hidalgo has given me the confidence I once lost in working with professionals. Work was performed and we paid. A couple of weeks later we experienced problems, but owner would not call us back. Do not use!
