*Kalamazoo Auto Body was the first collision shop in the Greater Lansing Area to obtain an I-CAR ?Gold? designation. I-CAR is the industry organization that sets the standards for collision repair. Auto manufacturers, repairers, and insurers work together to determine correct repair procedures. I-CAR training is ongoing for the technicians at Kalamazoo Auto Body as well as the estimators. *All technicians and estimators at Kalamazoo Auto Body are also ASE certified. The Auto Service Excellence program is a national organization that promotes training and education in the auto repair industry. *Another valuable source of education offered to technicians and estimators at Kalamazoo Auto Body are classes held by ATEG (Automotive Technical Education Group). These classes focus on the repair procedures specifically recommended by the manufacturers for new models as they are released. *Last but not least, the technicians at Kalamazoo Auto Body have many years of experience in the collision repair industry. Our frame technicians are among the most highly trained and skilled repair people in the industry. Our paint department is equipped with the best materials and equipment that are availa ble. A computerized paint mixing system is used to duplicate the color of the vehicle, a urethane clear coat finish is applied to the vehicle, restoring it's pre-accident appearance. The vehicle is then baked in our downdraft booth for a long lasting, durable finish. All vehicles are washed before being returned to you.
