If you need your newly transplanted garden weedwacked or your trees scalped at odd angles, Bustard's Landscaping has just the expertise you're looking for. They've managed to weedwack three tomato plants inside cages, a decorative vine inside a 6-gallon container, and two thai chilies over two years. I recommend stainless steel edging for anything you don't want destroyed--both plastic and chicken wire fences have been destroyed.

I fully believe they know what they're doing when it comes to tree trimming--cutting down a tree makes for much quicker cash in your pocket than maintaining a healthy one. They "raised and elevated" a century-old catalpa with enough damage to nearly ensure it will rot out within a few years. Which brings us to their next service--cutting down diseased trees. Fortunately, most homeowners don't know enough about arboriculture to see the difference. It shouldn't come as a surprise that their core business is Christmas trees, with a limited lifespan and a predefined shape.

Owning power tools doesn't make you a professional, and it doesn't make you qualified. I don't doubt that there are competent, upstanding people employed by this business, which is why I have mixed feelings about leaving this review. That being said, the service I've seen has left me extremely disappointed in quality and attention to detail, which is core to a detail-oriented trade.

Bustard Landscaping is my 4th landscaper in a dozen years. My home sits on a spring and Bustard understands this. They are careful not to take the turns like they are at the Indy 500. With every lawn cutting they weed-whacked to protect softer ground. Edging is also done regularly and long driveway is blown clean. My property hasn't looked as nice as it does in all the time I've been at my home. Great service and great employees.
