Springs Memorial Hospital

This place is a joke! I recently took my friend to the emergency room here. She was three months pregnant and had severe bleeding and abdominal pain. She explained this to the staff upon check in and they told her to have a seat while they checked her in. She waited bleeding with pain for roughly 35 minutes without anyone assisting her. There were about 4 other people waiting so they weren’t that busy. We left and I drove her to CMC in Pineville and they took her case seriously. If you can help it do NOT go to Springs Memorial emergency room. You will likely die waiting. Their policies and procedures are clearly not in order.

If you have a serious health issue it is my recommendation that you go to Charlotte, NC's hospitals. Even if you are taken to SMH by ambulance you can be transported to a different hospital of your choosing.
