Gillins Appraisal Inc

BUYER BEWARE. I should have known dealing with this company would have been a nightmare from the instant they knocked on my door. First, they showed up half an hour late and gave me no notice of this. Once they did arrive, I answered the door and the guy handed me his business card and walked in the house without a hello or even telling me his name. Call me crazy, but if you are entering my house, a hello, a handshake, and an introduction are standard. Fast forward two and half weeks, and I still don't have the appraisal. I call to inquire about the status of the appraiser and Evan tells me that it will be done "this afternoon or tomorrow morning." That is what he had told my lender the week before. The appraisal still wasn't completed so I called back again and Patty, the receptionist, answered the phone. Patty is rude and the epitome of unprofessional. She screams at her customers and it beyond unhelpful. We did finally receive the appraisal 23 days later. STAY AWAY
