Walmart Supercenter

I wish Sam Walton was still alive. I remember him flying into Bolivar, Mo and going to his store and firing everyone who didn't treat him with respect. He was dressed in manure covered overalls. I wish he could come here: Walmart Lakewood, Wa.

r, what I found once more was dispect and rudeness by an employee named "Vickie" She put me on hold for over 30 minutes and never came back to the phone. While I was waiting on the cell phone.... I called back from the home phone. I reached "Vickie" again. When I inquried why she had me still on hold on the other phone for over 26 miinutes she responded, "I could not find what you needed and assumed that someone else would pick up the phone." To me this is toltal disrespect and for this reason I will continue to stay away from what used to be my favorite shopping place."

I admit its a beautiful store,its super clean n pleasant to shop,good job store manager,u should be proud!!!

walmart puts small business out of business. Good for prices, bad for America

SuperCenter retail across the US is pretty typical. I came from IL and Walmart stores were the same. Always understaffed at the registers and the departments. You have to admit though, their prices are tough to beat! As for rude service... ever thought of saying in a polite manner "I'm sorry. Were you busy or did something bad happen today?" Oftentimes if you call their attention to their attitude, their attitude will change. Its called "killing them with kindness." The absolute best Walmart stores to be found are in Kentucky and Tennessee. You just cannot beat their southern hostitality!!

I like how the store was remodeled. There is more stuff here. I want to mention the last time I was here at Walmart, getting my vehicle serviced. I'm not really good with cars, and don't know much about them. I didn't realize my car needed a lot more then just the usual oil change. Ray, one of the technicians took his time to show me the other things on my car that needed attention, and things I should be aware of. He explained it in easy terms. I would have gotten the things fixed there, but they don't offer the services to do so. That's called great customer service. Making sure I was safe on the road. Thanks Lakewood Walmart Lube Center!

As with any big box retailer, not all departments are created equal...

At this particular store, I have continually received five-star service from

the pharmacy...however, there are times that service was lacking in

other areas.



While it's true that each department isn't fully staffed with "subject matter experts", I keep in mind that this is, after all, a big box store.



If I've been treated in a rude manner (rare), I note the name of the employee, and once in my car, call the customer service manager to let them know about the situation..(.the store telephone number is on the receipt.)



Management can't improve things if they aren't made aware by the cutomer!



On several occasions I've called the customer service manager, and

my concerns were taken seriously, with a promise to resolve the issue

immediately and courteously thanking me for my suggestions.

Recently, I was given a $10 gift card for my inconvenience!



It really does pay to be a retail activist!

I work at this walmart as a cashier. I genuinly care about all the customers that come here. I try really hard to make every shopping experience a great one. It just turned into a super center. Its a very friendly enviornment, and I promise to go the extra mile for every customer I see. Come and see for yourself, and thanks for shopping at your friendly neighborhood Walmart! Have a nice day! ( I know I sound like a commercial, but I really mean it.)

ELECTRONICS is the worse!!!! the people that work that dept don't know anything and 99% of the time theres only 1 person there who would not smile or acknowledge your presence at the counter!! Second, garden center, OMG they are not helpful at all!

I love this Wal-Mart since they remodled and became aSuper Wal-Mart. The customer service I recieved was great.

The people at this Walmart are rude !!! I purchased a big screen HDTV costing over $ 1,500 from Walmarts online, and was to pick it up the next day. When I got there, the manager from the Electronics dept. was so rude, I about asked for my money back. Then, when I went to the "Pick Up Today" section by the customer service deck, that guy was also rude. It took him several tries and a manager to finally process my paperwork, because he was totally clueless. Then when he asked how I was transporting the television I was buying, I told him that I was having a taxi van come out and pick me and the television up. He then says that I can't have my HDTV until the taxi van shows up. Imagine that ! You pay over $ 1,500 for something at a store and the store tells you that you can't have it. That was my limit of rudeness from Walmart. So, I grabbed the television, put it on a cart; and walked out of the store. I thought security was going to come after me, but then I thought "I've had it with this place". I've paid for it, I have the receipt, it's mine. So, as far as I'm concerned, Lakewood Walmart's can F*** OFF !!!

Wanted a car stereo system. Nobody in the entire store had the key to open the display case. Waited around for 45 minutes. Under staffed, don't expect any help. Prices aren't any better than anywhere else.

There was a lady in the pet department stopped me who knew nothing about pets. I can't recall her name, but she told me all the wrong things. She stopped me from purchasing litter and other items for my pets. I didn't want to buy anything after her poor customer service. I took my business elsewhere. The shelves needed stock and she didn't want to sale the merchandise I guess that's why she stopped me from buying items I really needed.

Several months ago, I returned home from the Lakewood Walmart, only to find that I had lost my wallet. Retracing my steps, I knew that it had to have been in the store parking lot.





Thinking it a long-shot, I went back to the store and inquired at the returns counter. They had my wallet with all the contents, including the money, intact.



I want to thank the person who turned it in and all the helpful employees at the store. I love this store and I had only great experiences here.

this Walmart store is newer, cleaner and most of the employees that I dealt with are very nice and caring. They go that "extra" mile to help you find what you are looking for and if they can't find it, they ask another sales clerk until they do find it. The only draw back is that the store is soooo large that it takes time to browse the entire store.
