Overall, I had an awful experience. This vet clinic is fine as long as nothing is wrong with your animal. My animal had a type of cancer and when I went in to get help for her, he told me that I was in the wrong. After MANY visits, he admitted that I was right and she was very sick. He gave her a type of steroid and she was fine for a month. When I needed a refill, he gave me the WRONG MEDICINE. She began having seizures and when I called to try to get the correct medicine, he told me I was wrong again. After a week of me calling them daily and every time getting the response, "We will call you right back!", I went in to get all of the work I had done on her to get her help at a vet who didn't just care about my business. When I asked who he was licensed under, he responded "no one".

I could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate vet as Dr. Vargas. I had the difficult decision of having my long time friend and pet, Boomer, euthanized on June 30th. Dr. Vargas explained the procedure to us before and during and made it so much easier to bear. We are eternally grateful to him.

Dr. Vargas is the kindest Vet I have every used for my little cocker spaniel. He is caring and always gives treatment that makes the most sense. It is not about useless treatments just to spend money. Thank you for your special healing hands!

Dr. Vargas is an excellent doctor. He takes his time explaining all issues and plan of action to resolve problems. Most of the Staff at the clinic are very polite and professional. Misty and Mafe are great with animals and always show affection and love for them. The clinic is clean and neat. He has an emergency phone line where you can leave messages even during the weekend and he always returns calls! I have a lot of gratitude for Doctor Vargas, Misty and Mafe for what they have done for my dog. I highly recommend him.

Very happy! Dr. Vargas has saved and/or extended the lives of several of my dogs over the years. He has vast experience with a large number of dogs and cats but is knowledgable and experienced from frogs and snakes to cows and horses. He is very responsive. He is generous with his time and with information. He assists shelters and rescues. His patient always comes first.

As I write this, one of my dogs has now lived 4 plus months of virtually normal full quality-of-life life from a time where she was probably as close to dead as one can come. With many dogs and cats, I trust Dr. Vargis with the welfare of my extended family.

Very Unhappy , started out ok but when I fell behind on my payment due to my husband being out of work, sent several emails, and tried to get a refill for my dogs heart medicine I have been ignored.

Dr. Vargas came to my house to examine my thirteen parrots, my elderly dog and cat for Health Certificates to travel to Alaska. Dr. Vargas was very gentle with my parrots and tried to keep everything as low stress as possible for them. He was wonderful with both the dog and cat. He had many good tips for me to make my trip easier. His coming to my house made all this so much easier. His office did homework to made sure I had all the proper documentation I needed before they came out and communicated very well with me. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone!

Dr. Vargas & Staff, All My little four footed family can say is WHOAHOOOO! What a great Guy! He has done so much for us in the last year. First I found out how wonderful he was from a friend of mine. He comes to her home and dose what he needs to do . He talks to you about how it happen and what you both are going to do for this family member. He loves what he dose. If you ever talk to him you would know this.

I did not know him long when I asked for help on getting one of my Papillons breed. Things did not add up until he got involved. I did not think what I was being told was right on the time line. Well, he help the whole way thru it. At 61 days she's having the pup's. I called to let him know. Well, late into the night she stopped. He told me to watch her & call him back. He had no problem in telling myself & husband what to look for and do. Well, we saw nothing good happening. Guess what ? We took her to his office, he opened up , help with the delivery of four pups . One had died during birth and lodged itself which did not allow the others to follow.

Delivered three BEATIFULL PAPILLON'S. 2 BOY'S & 1 GIRL. THEY ARE GOING TO BE 1 YEAR OLD IN JULY. He also knows his way around a coffee machine. He makes great tasting coffee. We left his office @ 6:00am . Then he turned around and did his shift on that Saturday before he went home to sleep.

He has since fixed the boys, helped with other small issues. The female got a mushroom and ate it because her brothers wanted it. Well he was on the phone with me before work , told me what to give her to make her sick . Well within 5 minutes she was sick & still live. I can Never say THANK YOU to many times for his help. I've had other Vet's and trust me they always told me to take them to the E-room centers. Let alone they never gave me there cell number. We love what Dr. Vargas dose for our little four footed family. Trust me I OWE him. I'm so greatful for him in these two counties. I know in my heart he'll always do what is write. As far as his billing, Never been surprised by his bill. Kudos to my freind who told me about him.

We are very fortunate to have such a skilled and caring veterinarian as Dr. Vargas. He is very proffesional and goes beyond the call of duty. The staff is courteous, and keeps in touch with you when your animal is there, they are all highly trained and good with animals. My cat split her head open in three different places I thought she would not survive. Dr. Vargas took care of her and saved her life. She is now alive and well. I know many people who are grateful for his caring of animals and being such a skilled veterinarian.

Dont go there. Unreliable service, phone calls not returned, even after they tell you they will call you right back. No answering machine on to leave a message or give you an emergency number to call. No emergency number on the business cards. Tell you one cost give you a bill for waaayyyyyy more, oh yeah, forgot to tell you we also charge this, this and this. Question the bill, they dont take the cost off, they just dont do the service you asked for or give you the required paperwork you need and then lie and say you didnt want it. No, just wanted to know why you didnt tell me about this charge up front when i asked so I could plan on it. Vet takes no accountability for his own mistakes, offers no apology and blames it on the client. Terrible experience and will never go there again. Unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest. Showed up before they opened on Saturday morning as their office hours state 8-12 Sat, no one shows up. So I call the emergency number on the door and the Vet says they are closed and he cant help me, which almost cost me a sale, cost me money, time and gas for 4 trips down trying to straighten this out. Terrible business practice. Would never suggest anyone use them. If I could have checked NO STARS for the review I would've, but they made me put at least one star, doesnt deserve it at all.
