Desert Gems

I wish I could give them no stars. The only thing this shop has is a poor selection and the women have horrible attitudes. I have been in a few times because at first I thought maybe they were just having "off" days, unfortunately that's not the case. They are just shockingly negative women. I prefer to give my business to people who don't treat me like I'm inconveniencing them with my simple questions. To top it off the prices are outrageous. I Recommend shopping elsewhere before giving them any business.

I visited this store today and the employees were kind and helpful. One even did a bit of online research for me while I shopped! Nice selection and overall the prices seem reasonable.

I have been to Desert Gems several times and have always had good customer service. The gemstone bead selection is pretty good and they have both base metal and sterling findings. The beads behind the counter can be a little pricey. Overall, this is a good store.

I'm in the market for a rock tumbler and knew about this store so I checked their website to see what they had. It merely listed that they had tumblers but didn't show the prices. I called and spoke with a woman who acted like I was troubling her by calling. After that experience and reading the reviews here I won't be going to this store. Why is good customer service so rare these days?

Went into the store and was treated with complete disrespect from the employees. I have been in sales for years and never treated so horribly. They don't care to answer any questions or help you with a purchase what so ever! Go somewhere else for your gifts don't support this business. In this economy you have to learn to treat your customers with respect or you won't have a business.
